Mac Repairs: How Long Does It Take?

Check-in / Diagnostics
Upon arriving at our store and after a brief discussion with one of our Apple certified technicians, your device is checked in to our system. This allows us to run diagnostics to determine the cause of the problem. Diagnostics typically take 1-2 business days, depending on where your Mac falls within the queue. However, upgrading to our priority option pushes your computer to the top of our list giving you same day diagnostics and the opportunity to hold on to your device should any part need to be ordered to complete the repair. Once diagnostics are complete, you will receive a phone call with a quote on the repair cost. After approving the cost, we enter into the repair phase.
Repairs
Turnaround time on a Mac repair generally ranges from 1-2 business days. But there are other deciding factors that can determine the overall time of repair, such as the time it takes to receive a replacement part or choosing priority. If you choose the priority option, you are allowed to keep your computer during the time it takes for the replacement parts to arrive. Once those parts come in, you will bring your computer back to us and the repair will be completed within the same day. So for those of you who work on your computer daily for your career, our priority option is definitely the way to go!
Overall, the total time it should take to complete your Mac repair from drop off to pick up is roughly 3-5 business days. Communication is key and we try our very best to keep you up to date on your computer throughout the entire repair process.
